Re: Nancy Ashley m. Patrick Shaw

By David Geiger September 23, 2002 at 02:19:06
Here is what I have: Patrick James Shaw b. 9/18/1720 in Killyleagh, Countydown, N. Ireland and d. 1/11/1802 in N. Carolina m. Nancy Ashley in 1756. Patrick's father was John Patrick Shaw b. ~1700 John Patrick Shaw's father was James Patrick Shaw b. ~1670 in Scotland James Patrick Shaw's father was John Shaw b. ~1640 in Scotland John Shaw's father was James Shaw b. ~1610 in Scotland.

This is not verified from the above note. However it provides great leads. So far there's not enough information to determine American records on those men. Court records, Christening records in Ireland and Scotland will be helpful.
